How to read these
Each entry describes a single visit: what failed, what was measured, what was changed and how the call ended. They are printed in the words they were given to us, under a first name and a last initial. A wall of nothing but top marks tells a reader nothing, and a van that has never had a part arrive wrong or a second visit go out is a van nobody has ever used.
No entry quotes a figure. What a visit costs is set out on the pricing page, where it can be held against the invoice, and what happens afterwards is on the warranty page. If a review describes what your own appliance is doing, the page for that service explains how the fault is found.
A star figure appears on this site only on a page that prints the reviews behind it. There is no page that shows a score with nothing under it.

Our wall unit would preheat and then drop back fifty degrees. He found the bake element open at one end and the probe reading long, replaced both and checked calibration against his own meter.

The door on the upper cavity had started to sag and heat was escaping past the seal. He rebuilt the hinges and fitted a new gasket. It shuts properly now, though it took longer than either of us expected.
